Hometown Novel Night
Hometown Novel Night, Unplugged kicks off the weekend with up to 40 regional authors on the square accompanied by the sounds of DJ Alan Ray. The pedestrian only promenade of booths will extend from West Broad Street to Brown Street adjacent to the Carnegie. This free event is co-hosted by Hometown Novel Writers. Association.
North Georgia Regional Book Fair
The Dahlonega Literary Festival steering committee has partnered with the University of North Georgia’s Department of English and the UNG Press to sponsor a large-scale book fair—the North Georgia Regional Book Fair—in mid-September at the University of North Georgia’s convocation center. We plan for this to become an annual event. Just as our March festival does, this event will have panels, presentations, and workshops—all of them featuring Regional Writers!
